The sea turtle is a powerful symbol, symbolizing longevity, endurance and perseverance, attributed to its longevity and ability to swim great distances in the ocean. It is often associated with wisdom and knowledge, representing the understanding and insight accumulated over a long, well-lived life. In many cultures, the sea turtle is also a symbol of the world, its shell symbolizing the earth and the underworld, the sky, representing the unity and balance of nature. In addition, it symbolizes patience, emotional strength and graceful acceptance of the flow of life, given the slow movements and smooth environment in which it lives.

In myths and folklore, the sea turtle holds a place of honor and is often associated with creation myths. In various indigenous cultures, the sea turtle is believed to have helped create the earth, and its back was the foundation of the world. In Hawaiian mythology, the sea turtle, or "honu," is considered a symbol of good luck and a guardian spirit, or "aumakua," that provides protection and guidance. In Japanese folklore, the sea turtle is synonymous with longevity and prosperity, often depicted carrying the world on its back and associated with the deity of good fortune, Kame. These mythical images emphasize the symbolic role of the sea turtle as a guardian of wisdom, protector, bearer of the secrets of the world, and a bearer of the harmonious balance of life.

Our eldest member of the family, Titus, also known as the turtle king. He takes care of the turtle population all his life. He stays awake at night on the beach and meets the turtles that have come from the ocean to lay their eggs. He collects the turtle eggs and protects them on the territory of our villa until they hatch. After the hatching, we release the turtles into the Ocean after sunset. Every time it is a big celebration. A celebration for everyone - especially for the turtles who are starting their long journey of life. A celebration for the children and for all of you. This is a unique opportunity to release a newly born baby turtles into the ocean from your hands!
These are unforgettable moments and emotions for everyone.
