Best location on the south coast of Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 👌My partner found Plantations Villa online as he was looking for the best location in proximity to the surf, and that it was.We stayed in a double room, hosted by Tharindu and his beautiful family along with other long term residents for one month over the Christmas holidays and we absolutely loved it. We had planned to travel more during this period but found it difficult to leave.The family were super friendly, helpful, and excellent with WhatsApp coms from the initial booking when organising transfers from the airport, to renting scooters and whatever else we needed on arrival.Our room was large, clean, light and airy, with huge windows looking straight out to the Plantations surf 👌.Stunning views, turtles popping up everywhere and listening to the waves with the breeze on the huge communal balcony.There are lots of restaurants within walking distance to suit all budgets, my favourite was the local roti shop opposite the villa. It's also only a short stroll up the beach to Coconuts.We were really disappointed to leave but know we'll be back again in the future.
